Welcome to First String. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and First String ("First String," "we," "us") covering your use of our mobile app and website (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use First String. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have a parent or guardian's permission.

Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything that happens under your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.

Fair play & conduct

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, or automation to gain an unfair advantage.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or leagues.
• Harass other players or post unlawful, abusive, or infringing content.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to access the Service in unauthorized ways.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

No real-money gambling

First String is a free-to-play game of skill. There are no cash prizes and no wagering or betting of real money. Points and rankings have no monetary value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Free to play & ads

The Service is free to play and supported by advertising. We may change features, add or remove content, or stop offering parts of the Service at any time.

Intellectual property

First String and its content, branding, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your own enjoyment. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer it.

NFL & third parties

First String is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NFL or any team. Player names and statistics are used for fantasy scoring purposes only. The Service also relies on third parties (such as Apple, Google, and data providers) whose terms may also apply.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stats and scores will always be accurate.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, First String will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which First String operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
