This Privacy Policy explains how First String("First String," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile app and website (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information — such as your email address, username, and team name when you create an account.
• Gameplay data — the rosters you build, transfers and waivers you make, scores, and leaderboard standings.
• Device & usage data — device type, operating system, app version, and how you interact with the Service.
• Advertising identifiers — on mobile, an advertising identifier may be used to show and measure ads. On iOS we ask permission first (App Tracking Transparency); you can decline.
• Communications — messages you send us, for example support requests.

How we use your information

• To run the game — build your squad, score your players, and rank you on the leaderboard.
• To create and secure your account and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To send you service messages and, if you opt in, push notifications about scores and price changes.
• To show and measure ads that help keep First String free to play.
• To improve the Service and understand how it's used.

Advertising

First String is free to play and supported by ads. We use third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob, which may use device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings, and on iOS you can decline tracking when prompted.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers that host our data, run analytics, deliver push notifications, or serve ads, under agreements that limit their use of it.
• App stores and platforms (Apple, Google) as needed to distribute and run the app.
• Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
• Business transfers — if First String is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Children's privacy

First String is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@firststringfantasy.com and we will delete it.

Your choices

• Access & deletion — you can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing us.
• Push notifications — turn these on or off in your device settings.
• Ad tracking — limit or reset your advertising identifier in your device settings.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and we use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, provide additional notice.
